Mirror for vehicles

The invention relates to a mirror device for a vehicle whereby the radius of curvature (r) of the mirror (2) can be altered. A memory metal (4) is situated on the back of the mirror (2) and can be caused to change shape by altering its temperature, e.g. by passing an electric current through it. The change of shape of the mirror (2) may be effected automatically or manually.
