A curtain airbag device placement structure has an airbag module (38) that is structured to include a curtain airbag (42) folded-up in an elongated shape and an inflator (44) supplying gas to the curtain airbag (42) at a time of a side collision or the like, and that is assembled in advance to a top surface of a side terminal portion (12B) of a roof head lining (12). The inflator (44) is disposed directly above a center pillar (52), and a pair of front and rear mounting leg portions (92B) of an inflator mounting bracket (92) for fixing the inflator (44) to a vehicle body are extended further toward a vehicle lower side than the side terminal portion (12B) of the roof head lining (12), and further, the inflator mounting bracket (92) is fixed to the center pillar (52) at the mounting leg portions (92B).
