Construction measuring device for detecting, measuring and marking edges and corner points of bordering surfaces

The construction measuring device has an edge tracking- and projection functionality that is provided between the conjoining and any-shaped surfaces of a construction, where the edge tracking- and projection functionality automatically execute towards activation. The edge lines (3a,3b,3c) are determined in the frame of the edge tracking- and projection functionality through edge determination by image processing. The edge lines are determined according to the alignment of a sighting unit with alignment indicator functionality (2) on a known corner point (1a). An independent claim is provided for a method for use with a construction measuring device.
