The assembly includes a pivot shaft rotatably supported in central passage of a pivot housing, a lever coupled to the pivot shaft, and a cover. The cover includes a tubular portion, cylindrical step and a transition portion integrally formed between the tubular portion and the cylindrical step. The cover further includes a cantilever snap extending from inner surface of the transition portion, in longitudinal direction of the cover. A protrusion is formed in the cylindrical step at a location adjacent to the snap. The tubular portion of the cover is received over pivot shaft and a locking profile formed at free end of the snap is received in a recess formed in top end of the pivot housing, thereby restricting longitudinal and rotational movements of the cover with respect to the pivot housing.",
