Seat of an automobile
DRIVE
December 26, 2012
The seat (1) has a fixed rail (3), a movable rail (4), and a backrest stretcher (5) fixedly mounted to the movable rail via a connecting rod (6), where the seat is operable to a collapsed configuration in which a backrest (2) is folded on the seat. A stop (9) integral with the connecting rod assumes a forward position when the backrest is in use, and a retracted position when the backrest is folded. A reciprocal abutment (10) secured to the fixed rail assumes a dodge position when the movable rail is returned towards a rear position from a front position while the backrest is in use.
