POWER SUPPLY SYSTEM AND ELECTRIC VEHICLE
DRIVE
December 26, 2012
When an ignition switch is turned off, a power supply system (1) turns off a second switch (SW2) to block the supply of power from a 12V-battery (LB) to an equalization circuit and turns on a first switch (SW1) to supply power from a solar cell unit (11) to the equalization circuit. In the power supply system (1), even when a vehicle is left over a long period of time, the voltages of the respective unit cells of a high-voltage battery (HB) are equalized and even when the ignition switch is turned off, the voltages of the unit cells constituting the assembled battery are appropriately equalized.
