The insert (1) has an annular element (2) that is firmly attached in a radial recess (8) of a cylinder (4). Another annular element (3) that is inserted in a radial groove (9) of the former annular element. The latter annular element is radially moved in the groove relative to the former annular element, and is provided in axially stationary manner. An inner diameter of a radial inner surface of the latter annular element is established such that the radial inner surface passes over an outer circumferential surface of a piston (5) in area of fire land (6).
