"textContent": "A fuel cell system of the present invention includes: a fuel cell apparatus (24); an exhaust gas passage through which an exhaust gas from the fuel cell apparatus (24) is discharged; and a water tank (6) configured to store water present within the exhaust gas. The water tank (6) includes a first reservoir (17), a second reservoir (18), and a communication part (29) which is configured to allow the first reservoir (17) and the second reservoir (18) to communicate with each other at a lower part of the water tank (6). The second reservoir (18) of the water tank (6) is provided with a drain outlet (20) which is disposed above the communication part (29). The exhaust gas passage is connected to the first reservoir (17) of the water tank (6). The exhaust gas passage is configured such that: in cases where a flow of the exhaust gas within the exhaust gas passage is not blocked at any position downstream from the water tank (6), the exhaust gas is discharged to the atmosphere from the exhaust gas passage; and in cases where the flow of the exhaust gas within the exhaust gas passage is blocked at a position downstream from the water tank (6), the exhaust gas is discharged to the atmosphere through the drain outlet (20) of the water tank (6).",
