"textContent": "A membrane reformer comprising a thin leak-tight coating (6) disposed upon a substrate (25), wherein said thin leak-tight coating transports hydrogen, and wherein said thin leak-tight coating is provided by a laser direct-write process and said thin leak-tight coating is formed utilizing a metallic ink having a metallic component and a carrier component, and wherein said metallic component is comprised of at least one of palladium, palladium alloys or palladium and silver alloy and wherein the coating is subject to thermal processing, and wherein the thermal processing comprises bake out of organics, which substantially removes the carrier component from the coating, and sintering which substantially densifies and mends the metallic component of the coating to provide substantially complete coverage of the surface.",
