Device for tensioning a contact wire or a bearer cable of an overhead wire assembly and overhead mast

The device (1) has a tensioning arrangement comprising a tensioning drum (5) for receiving an anchoring wire connected with a contact wire or a bearer cable, and another tensioning drum (6) for receiving a weight connected with a retightening weight. The tensioning arrangement is arranged in a housing (2). The drums are connected with a chain drive for reducing weight of the retightening weight. Axles of the drums are arranged at distance from each other. Diameters of the drums are equal to each other. The drums are rotatably supported at a frame (3).
