SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR CHARGING A ROBOTIC WORK TOOL

A system for charging of a self-propelled robotic lawnmower, includes a charging station and a robotic lawnmower. The charging station includes a pivoting head. The charging station and the robotic lawnmower comprise a presence sensor, a sensed feature, and second charging connectors. The pivoting head and the robotic lawnmower form an enclosure around the charging connectors during charging. The presence sensor and the sensed feature detect an opening of the enclosure.
