A system for attaching an indirect vision device to a vehicle, comprising: a base assembly () comprising a first stopper (), the base assembly () configured to be attached to the vehicle; an arm () which comprises a second stopper (), the arm () being configured to rotate with respect to the base assembly () at least between a first position (P) and a second position (P); a cover () being configured to be attached to and at least partially located between the base bracket () and the arm (), wherein the cover () comprises a band () which surrounds at least partially the first stopper (), wherein at the first position (P) the second stopper () is away from the first stopper () and the band (), and at the second position (P) the second stopper () contacts the band (), or wherein the cover () comprises a band () which surrounds at least partially the second stopper (), wherein at the first position (P) the first stopper () is away from the second stopper () and the band (), and at the second position (P) the first stopper () contacts the band ().
