STEERING DEVICE

A steering device includes: a steering body; a pad; a holding member; and an electronic component. The pad includes a ceiling wall portion disposed on a driver side and a peripheral wall portion extending downward in a tubular shape from a vicinity of a peripheral edge of the ceiling wall portion. A lead wire extending from an arrangement region for the electronic component in the ceiling wall portion extends from a back surface side of the ceiling wall portion to an outer peripheral side of the peripheral wall portion passing through an insertion opening provided in the peripheral wall portion. A connector disposed on a tip end side of the lead wire is attached to a lower surface side of the holding member. An intermediate portion of the lead wire is disposed on the outer peripheral to intersect an axial direction of the peripheral wall portion.
