The automotive air conditioner has housing (1) having air duct for passing air, and to accommodate blower and air filter. A filter cover (3) has a tub (7) for collecting water on the air filter and a draining device (8) for draining the water out of the tub. A tongue and groove connector detachably connects the filter cover to the housing with horizontal movement of the filter cover.
