A seat reclining apparatus (4) includes a first member (21) including a first tubular portion (24), a second member (31) including a second tubular portion (35), a pair of wedge members (40a, 40b) each including a protruding portion (41), a biasing member (45) biasing the wedge members (40a, 40b), an input member (50) pressing the protruding portion (41) to rotate the wedge members (40a, 40b), a pressing point (P) via which the input member (50) presses the wedge member (40a, 40b), a radially inward contact point (C1) via which the wedge member (40a, 40b) is contactable with the first tubular portion (24), and a radially outward contact point (C2) via which the wedge member (40a, 40b) is contactable with the second tubular portion (35), wherein in a state where a biasing force of the biasing member (45) is largest because of a dimensional variation in manufacturing, a pressing force line (F) passing through the pressing point (P) is identical to an intermediate line (M) between first and second tangent lines (T1, T2) passing through the radially inward and outward contact points (C1, C2)
