An evaluation unit (34) determines three-dimensional (3D) coordinates of measurement points in an outer object coordinate system on the basis of inner measurement point coordinates and the referencing information, so that the point coordinates are in the form of 3D coordinates in the coordinate system. A scanning apparatus (21) is provided in an unmanned controllable, automotive aircraft (20) that is designed such that the aircraft is oriented and moved in a hovering manner.
