Device with a geared device for supplying at least one auxiliary generator of a vehicle with drive energy

The device (1) has a mechanical gear box device (2) e.g. toroid gear box, for supplying an ancillaries accessory unit (3) e.g. refrigerator, of a vehicle (4) with driving power. Translation ratio of the gear box device is steplessly variable at an area. The gear box device is placed at an input side with a driving unit of a prime mover (5) of a power train (6) of the vehicle, and at an output with the accessory unit. The box device is provided in a power path between the prime mover and the accessory unit whose translation ratio is adapted to the box device.
