AXLE BRAKE MODULE, BRAKE SYSTEM, MOTOR VEHICLE, VEHICLE TRAILER

An axle brake module of a brake system of a motor vehicle or of a vehicle trailer, having two actuatable wheel brake devices for decelerating the motor vehicle or the vehicle trailer. Each of the wheel brake devices being assignable/assigned to a different wheel of the same axle of the motor vehicle or of the vehicle trailer. The brake system includes a controllable brake force generator, the brake force generator being configured to pump hydraulic fluid into at least one hydraulic brake circuit in order to generate a brake pressure at the particular wheel brake device. The axle brake module has a common hydraulic brake circuit or two hydraulic brake circuits, each assigned to one of the wheel brake devices, in each case as a hydraulically closed brake circuit, such that it is assigned only to the axle brake module.
