Suspension assembly for wheel suspensions in motor vehicles
DRIVE
October 10, 2012
The arrangement has a torsion bar spring (22) placed over an actuator (28). A driven lever is hinged on a wheel guide element. An output lever (38) is horizontally aligned over a vertical coupling rod (40), where the output levers are frustum-shaped. An auxiliary frame (14) is attached to the actuator and fastened to a telescopic shock absorber (24) via a vibration isolating bearing. A guide sleeve in the actuator is mounted on a control arm (12). The vertically aligned coupling rod is pivotally connected to the control arm.
