"textContent": "The invention relates to a traction system for a direct drive electric vehicle comprising respective electric motors (3a, 3b) with respective first power axles (2a, 2b) directly connected to a right drive wheel (1a) and to a left drive wheel (1b), a traction control circuit (7) transmitting additional power to a drive wheel (1a, 1b) when sensor means (7a, 7b) detect a traction loss of another drive wheel (1 a, 1 b), and comprising a coupling device (5) connected to respective second power axles (4a, 4b) of the electric motors (3a, 3b) to perform a variable torque transmission from a nil degree of coupling to a complete degree coupling between the electric motors (3a, 3b); a management logic (6) activating and adjusting the degree of coupling of the coupling device (5) between the electric motors (3a, 3b) according to the degree of traction loss of a drive wheel (1a, 1b).",
