Upholstery overlap

The seat (1) has a seat part (3) and a backrest (4) arranged at a rigid frame (2) i.e. supporting frame. A headrest suspension (9) of a headrest (5) is formed by the frame or fastened at the frame. The headrest suspension includes a frame-side suspension part (12) and a backrest-side suspension part (13), which is arranged outside the backrest. The backrest-side suspension part ends in an overlapping region (20) in which the headrest is partially arranged in an overlapping manner before or behind the backrest relative to an upper backrest end (15).
