In one aspect, the disclosure relates a composition, comprising: a concentration of one or more thermoplastic polyurethanes; and at least 75 parts per hundred rubber (phr) of one or more solution-polymerized styrene butadiene rubbers. Also disclosed herein are tires comprising the disclosed compositions.
