Lighting device for a motor vehicle with a redundant control of light sources
DRIVE
September 19, 2012
The illumination device comprises a light source that generates light from the supplied electric power, and a drive circuit that generates electric current flow through the operation of an input coupled to the light source, by the switching process carried out by a switching element. Several redundant switching elements (86,88) are assembled within the drive circuit, to control the flow of current, by the synchronous operation of the redundant circuit elements.
