The all-solid state battery includes a positive electrode, a negative electrode, a solid electrolyte layer that is interposed between the positive electrode and the negative electrode, and an intermediate layer on a surface of the solid electrolyte layer on a side of the negative electrode current collector. The negative electrode includes a negative electrode current collector and a lithium metal anode when the all-solid state battery is in at least partially charged state. The intermediate layer includes a metal particle that can be alloyed with lithium and a carbon particle that can occlude lithium ions.",
