The control unit calculates a discharge capacity of each of the cells, based on a full charge capacity of each of the cells after a predetermined time has elapsed from a time point of cell manufacture and a residual capacity of each of the cells after the predetermined time has elapsed from the time point of cell manufacture, and adjusts, by a balancer, a variation in the discharge capacity of each of the cells after the predetermined time has elapsed from the time point of cell manufacture.
