METHOD FOR CONTROLLING ENERGY CONSUMPTION OF AN ELECTRIC VEHICLE DURING AN IDLE STATE

The disclosure relates to a method (100) for controlling energy consumption of an electric vehicle (10) during an idle state of the electric vehicle (10), the method (100) comprising:- obtaining idle state data indicative of the electric vehicle (10) being in an idle state; wherein, if the electric vehicle (10) is in an idle state, the method (100) further comprises:- providing a plurality of options (1) for user selection, each one of the options (1) being indicative of one or more settings (2) for controlling energy consumption of the electric vehicle (10) during the idle state;- obtaining a user selection of one of the provided options (1); and- providing control data for controlling the energy consumption of the electric vehicle (10) based on the user selection.
