The invention concerns an electric axle comprising a housing, and, at least partly disposed inside the housing : - an electric motor (10) configured to deliver a first torque on a motor shaft (11) ; - a shiftable reduction gear assembly (330) comprising at least a first gearwheel (331) and a second gearwheel (335) coaxial with, and rotationally connectable to the motor shaft (11) ; - a planetary set (200) comprising two coaxial planetary gearsets, at least one member of the planetary set (200) being drivingly connected or connectable to the shiftable reduction gear assembly (330) ; - at least one driveshaft (90) configured to be drivingly connected to a wheel of the vehicle, the at least one driveshaft (90) being coaxial with, and receiving power from the planetary set (200).
