An axle gear system () includes a planetary stage (), a first driven shaft () and a second driven shaft (). The planetary stage () has a fixed carrier train ratio of less than negative one (โ1). A sun gear () of the planetary stage () is connected to a drive shaft () for conjoint rotation. A planet carrier () is connected to a first output shaft () for conjoint rotation. The first output shaft () is coupled to the first driven shaft () via a first intermediate transmission (). A ring gear () is connected to a second output shaft () for conjoint rotation. The second output shaft () is coupled to the second driven shaft () via a second intermediate transmission (). Transmission ratios of the first and second intermediate transmissions () are coordinated such that, in combination with the fixed carrier train ratio of the planetary stage (), a symmetrical torque distribution from the drive shaft () onto the driven shafts () is established.
