The present invention relates to a parcel shelf (100) which is adapted to be located at a rear end of a vehicle (300) having a boot lid (202), said parcel shelf (100) comprises a tiltable portion (114) hingedly connected at its front end (102) in relation to a driving direction of said vehicle (300), wherein at least one springing element (122) is arranged at said front end (102) of said tiltable portion (114), and said tiltable portion (114) is arranged to tilt upon actuation of said springing element (122).
