External rear-view mirror assembly for a motor vehicle

The external rear view mirror assembly (01) has a mirror base (02) on which a mirror head (03) is provided. An unadjustable mirror is provided in the mirror head. The articulation joints (06,07) are provided between the mirror base and mirror head. The electric motor adjusting drive units (10,11) are provided in mirror base and mirror head respectively. The pivot axis (08) of electro-motor adjusting drive unit (10) is arranged at right angle with respect to pivot axis (09) of the electric motor adjusting drive unit (11).
