Disclosed is an airbag (30) comprising first and second sheets (31, 41) joined along outer peripheral parts (31a, 41a). The second sheet (41) comprises a plurality of base cloths (51-53). The plurality of base cloths are arrayed around the circumferential direction, and also comprise overlapping parts (61-63) where adjacent ends (51a, 52a, 53a) are overlapping. At least one of the overlapping parts comprises unjoined sections (61a-63a) which are not joined together, and the gas inside the airbag can be ejected through the unjoined sections.
