Battery performance is enhanced via thermal management using a dedicated hydrogen-based heating and cooling system. Vehicle range is extended by reserving the main battery for propulsion, while cabin climate control is handled separately using a hydrogen heater and a hydrogen-powered compressor for air conditioning. An electric vehicle integrating these features is referred to as an Efficient Electric Vehicle (EEV).",
