A voltage control circuit controlling a gate-source voltage (Vgs) of a reverse polarity protection MOSFET (2) which is provided between a DC-voltage source (3) of a vehicle and a supply voltage terminal (Vin) of an integrated circuit (4), wherein said voltage control circuit is integrated in said integrated circuit (4) and controls said gate-source voltage (Vgs) of said reverse polarity protection MOSFET (2) to be constant during cold cranking of said vehicle.
