Device for supporting a photovoltaic solar panel for an automobile

The device has a panel support (5) for supporting a photovoltaic solar panel (3) on a roof of a motor vehicle. A part of a recess (11) of the support has fixing studs (17) fastened with a lower surface (21) of the solar panel for supporting the solar panel integrated to the support. The studs are positioned to be in contact with passive zones of the solar panel away from hot spots of elements of solar cells (19) of the solar panel. The support has a fixing screw arranged at locations reserved for installing a roof rack of the vehicle.
