Dynamic voltage restoration system and method

A system (10), in one embodiment, includes a voltage fault detection system (22). The voltage fault detection system (22) may be configured to acquire a reference voltage signal (60) from a power line (69) to determine if a voltage sag condition is present in the power line (69), determine a correction voltage (64,66) for correcting the voltage sag condition, use the reference voltage (60) to produce the correction voltage (64,66), and apply the correction voltage (64,66) to the power line (69).
