"textContent": "A system and method for vehicle lane change activation by eye gaze pattern recognition that includes capturing and sending, using an inward-looking vehicle camera, a video stream of a face of a driver. Based on the video stream a series of eye gaze directions of the driver is estimated and associated with one or more target areas. The computing module controller then recognizes a predetermined transition sequence in the series of eye gaze directions of the driver between a first target area and a second target area, wherein the recognition of the predetermined transition sequence occurs within a first threshold amount of time. Based on the recognition of the predetermined transition sequence in the series of eye gaze directions between the first target area and the second target area, an initiation of a lane change of the vehicle on a roadway is triggered.",
