Rotational speeds of a shaft (28) of the electrical machine and a crank shaft (12) of the engine are adjusted by opening the brake. The rotational speeds are provided relative to each other with a preset minimum accuracy in the ratio corresponding to the fixed value. The brake is subsequently closed. An independent claim is also included for an arrangement.",
