[0002] It is characterized in that, in a negative electrode for lithium-ion secondary battery, the negative electrode having a current collector 1 and an active-material layer 6 being bound on a surface of the current collector 1, the active-material layer 6 includes active materials 2, binders 5, conductive additives 4, and buffer materials 3, the active materials 2 include Si and/or Sn, and the buffer materials 3 comprise a silicone composite powder in which a spherical silicone-rubber powder is covered with a silicone resin.
