An air intake opening and closing apparatus for a vehicle includes a cover (15) provided at an air intake (14) formed at a front portion of a vehicle body (1), and a moving mechanism (20) configured to be supported by the vehicle body (1) and connected to the cover (15) so as to be driven by a drive source (27) and to move the cover (15) between a deployed position at which the cover (15) closes the air intake (14) and a retracted position at which the cover (15) opens the air intake (14).
