"textContent": "The present invention relates to a brass-plated steel cord capable of further improving initial adhesiveness and heat-resistant adhesiveness between a coating rubber and a steel cord and also imparting excellent durability to a resulting rubber article, and more particularly to a brass-plated steel cord, wherein an outermost surface thereof contains 0.3 to 1.7 atomic% of phosphorus, 4.93 to 14 atomic% of zinc, and 0.01 to 2.0 atomic% of a metal having an ionization tendency lower than that of zinc and higher than that of copper as measured by XPS (X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy), and an amount of zinc in the outermost surface is 30 to 90 atomic% based on 100 atomic% of a total amount of zinc and copper.",
