Geodesic measuring device with thermographic camera

The method involves pivoting sighting device against a base of survey device for changing direction. The sighting device has a lens unit that defines an optical target axis. The determined position information of the target point is combined with temperature information in a thermal image measuring mode by triggering a measuring process. An independent claim is also included for a system of a geodetic surveying device.
