Starter for a combustion engine

The starter has a rotatable motor (18) arranged in a housing (10). A drive shaft (17) of the motor is axially fixed at a posterior end (17A) opposite the housing by a holding disk (51). A closure cap (14) is provided over the holding disk to protect a part of the drive shaft. The closure cap has an inner formation for pressurizing the holding disk.
