Method for determining assembly positions in a hydrodynamic retarder

The method involves changing the eccentric arrangement position of the stator axis in dependence of the asymmetric fluid-pressure field in the pressure chamber of the retarder and generating a symmetrical pressure field. The asymmetric fluid-pressure field is preset by the arrangement position of inlet spirals and outlet spirals at the periphery of the retarder.
