Vehicle heating system

A vehicle heating system being provided, in a coolant circuit (2) that circulates coolant between an engine (1) and a heater core (4), with an electric heater (3) for heating coolant, an electric pump (5), and a switching valve (10), the system in which the switching valve (10) is used to divide and switch the coolant circuit (2) into and between a heater-core-side circuit (31) that circulates the coolant among the heater core (4), the electric pump (5) and the electric heater (3) and an engine-side circuit (30) that circulates the coolant into the engine (1), characterized in that the switching valve (10) has a thermo valve (20) that switches channels so that the coolant coming from the engine (1) enters either one of the heater-core-side circuit (31) and the engine-side circuit (30) according to temperature of the coolant, and a bypass (29) that returns the coolant, which comes from the heater-core-side circuit (31), to the heater-core-side circuit (31).
