The system receives a first message from the pod, the first message describing a performance condition of at least one hardware component of the pod. The system processes the first message with other data describing at least activity at the facility. Based on at least the processing and on inputs received from a mobile device, the system sends a second message to the chemical pod containing instructions for configuration of at the least one hardware component. The control system is located onsite or remotely from the wash facility and observes and manipulates operations of pod devices located at numerous wash facilities. It observes and controls sensors and actuators associated with components at the wash facilities.",
