Current collector for a rail vehicle

The current collector has a shear with a lower arm and an upper arm, which is pivotally attached to the lower arm, where a compensator (1) is fixed on the upper arm with two abrasive strips (10) for contacting a contact wire position. A transition piece (20) connects the upper arm with the compensator, where a sensor is provided for measuring deformation of the transition piece.
