Piloting device and vehicle equipped with such a device

The device (7) has speed clamping units (700) predefining an authorized maximal forward motion speed i.e. clamping speed. The clamping units are configured for intercepting signals emitted by a control member (40) of regulator and/or limiter (501). The clamping units transmit the signals to a regulator and/or limiter or the modified signals to the regulator and/or limiter based on the signals received from the control member of the regulator and/or limiter, so that forward motion speed of the vehicle does not exceed predefined clamping speed. An independent claim is also included for a vehicle, comprising an engine.
