Middle box

The middle box (1) comprises a lower shell (2) for attachment to a vehicle base, a driver seat or a passenger seat, and an upper shell (4), which is arranged on the lower shell. The lower shell and the upper shell are enclosed together forming a storage space for receiving articles, such as a laptop. The upper shell comprises a side (8) facing the lower shell, an opening (10) for the storage space, and a shaft (16) for receiving a control unit.
