The emergency power supply device (1) has energy storage units (2) with plug connectors (3) to which power strips (4) are attached. The energy stored for emergency power supply in energy storage units, is measured at the power strips. The temperature sensors (6) are attached to the power strips, so as to monitor the temperature of the energy storage units.
