Independent claims are also included for: (1) preparing the end groups functionalized polymer; (2) a vulcanizable rubber composition comprising antioxidants, oils, fillers, rubber and/or rubber auxiliaries, and the end groups functionalized polymer containing end groups (I), or end groups present as metal salts, of formula (-(Si(R1)(R2)-C(R3)(R4)-A-O ->) nM(n+)) (II); (3) tires obtainable from the vulcanizable rubber composition; and (4) moldings obtainable from the vulcanizable rubber composition. n : 1-4; and M : metal or metalloid of valency 1-4, preferably Li, Na, K, Mg, Ca, Fe, Co, Ni, Al, Nd, Ti, Si or Sn.",
